In album: P-6207716 1984 BMW R80ST, Silver. Not Running "Project Bike" VERY RARE and hard to find!
1984 BMW R80ST, Silver. Not running "Project Bike" $3000. Motor turns easily. Has key and all 4 locks. Fuel cap works, but has the internal catch broken, making it hard to remove if tightened. The Corbin Dual Sport seat needs the cover repaired in the front. The bike has a Rifle fairing. The transmission is out, but it is included; the input shaft turns, but the output does not. The Airbox assembly is not shown, but will be included. The Metzeler tires have lots of tread. The right side hand switch has a kill switch that needs repaired. The subframe has been welded on the right, just behind where the angular brace meets the horizontal loop; it looks well done. The small tab is missing, that hangs down from the back of the seat and into the seat lock. Front brake works, but looks like it could use a rebuild. The front disc is heavily grooved. The left battery cover has already had the typical broken tabs repaired, but the right cover needs 1 tab repaired. The mileage is 49,548. The title is free and clear, NOT salvage. There is no tool tray or tool kit included. Before we sell this bike, we will clean the carburetors, and then start the motor and perform a compression check, to insure there is no major problems with the motor.
