This Vintage Beauty is ready to ride for the season! It starts easily and runs very smoothly! We have gone over this bike from end-to-end and inside-out, leaving nothing untouched or neglected. We just completed a Factory Recommended 10K Service, new spark plugs and Plug Wires, rebuilt the Transmission, cleaned and inspected the clutch, installed a new rear main seal and oil pump o’ring. We decarboned the heads, lapped the valves, and resealed the Motor Top end, resealed the motor front, and installed a new cam chain and tensioner. We rebuilt the carburetors, and installed new Continental braided cloth covered fuel lines, and in-line fuel filters. New wheel bearings, New Metzeller tires, and new tubes on both wheels, We relaced and trued new stainless rear wheel spokes. We rebuilt the front forks, and installed new 13 rib rubber fork boots. A new battery and new rubber battery straps were installed. The bodywork and paint were all already in very good condition, but the frame paint was scarred up in places; we touched up the frame. We serviced the instrument. The seat is solid, but the cover shows slight wear near the left side trim. The chrome fuel tank “Toaster” panels and the chrome battery covers are all in good condition. All electricals function properly. There is an original tool tray, but no tool kit. The whole bike is very clean, original, and correct for its model & year. The only exception is the aftermarket MAC mufflers, which are in very good condition, and gives the exhaust note a pleasing rumble (NOT loud).
